It tells the story of two siblings—an 18-year-old boy named Sora and an 11-year-old girl named Shiro. These siblings have unbeatable gaming skills. One day, both the siblings get challenged by the God of Games—Tet for a competition in a chess game and this duo wins the game.
On their victory, the God of games grants them a chance to go to a place where everything is filled with games. This particular world is called as Disboard and there is no conflict or violence in Disboard. Every issue in Disboard is solved through games.
Initially, these two siblings take this as a game and accept to go to Disboard. They accept Tet’s proposal and to keep up their reputation, they have an intention to defeat the 16 species which rule in Disboard. However, the first season has ended openly and No Game No Life Season 2 has many questions to answer!

Updates Of No Game No Life Season 2
An inside source has confirmed that there is some progress in No Game No Life Season 2 and that it is going to be aired. However, official news is still much awaited. There is a theory that the animation theory that produces the anime No Game No Life does not make the second series usually of their animes.
However, it has released seasons 2, 3, and 4 of the anime Overlord. This shows us that it is creating sequels to its animes. Therefore, we can expect No Game No Life anime season 2. In the summer of 2017, the studio has come up with a movie that is a prequel to No Game No Life Season 1 and this film is based on the 6th novel.
This further implies that the studio is now working on the second season of the No Game No Life anime series. The first five novels were used in the construction of season 1 of the No Game No Life anime series and the 6th novel was used for the movie No Game No Life: Zero which is the prequel to season 1 of the No Game No Life anime series. It tells everything one has to know about season 1 and gives insights into the first season.
The remaining four novels are sufficient for the creation of the second season of No Game No Life. The delay in the production of No Game No Life season 2 can be because of the creation of the movie which was the prequel to season 1.
